  • Want to use family history websites?
  • Not sure where to start?
  • Feel overwhelmed by ancestry and genesreunited?

Join us for this introductory workshop where you’ll learn:

  • about some of the popular family history websites
  • where to start your research
  • what records to look for
  • where to find them
  • search tips to find those relatives who seem to have gone missing

No prior knowledge of family history research is needed. If you have already started on your family tree, you will still find this of interest if you are not familiar with searching for information online or feel that you have tried previously and were unsuccessful.

The evening will take a case study of my great-grandmother (shown above) and show you how from just a few pieces of information, you can build up your tree using online (&offline) records.

Date: Tuesday 27 July 2010
7:00pm – 9:00pm
Venue: Monks Yard, Horton Cross Farm, Horton Cross,
Ilminster, Somerset, TA19 9PT
£20 per person

Book here or email or call Fiona Wilson on 07773 400930

If you are interested in attending this or future family history related evenings, but can’t do this date, please let me know so I can add you to an email list for future similar events. Please email with your contact details and we’ll be in touch!
